Social Media Marketing
Since graduating college, I have managed two organizations' Instagram accounts. I was hired as the social media manager in March 2023 for The Fishin' Pig until July 2023. Then worked for GVI Seychelles in August 2023 for three months as their communication intern running their Instagram and creating content.
The Fishin' Pig, Norfolk VA
A local restaurant in its first two years of being open, quickly started thriving in the community. A solid social media presence was critical for customers to see specials, events, and updates and boost engagement and return.
GVI, Mahé Seychelles
An international conservation organization trying to spread its message and recruit new volunteers. I lived and worked on the remote island base and produced content that focused on standing out and informing.
Video Production
During my internship with GVI Seychelles, I created video content for their TikTok/IG Reels and YouTube pages. For TikTok and IG Reels, I focused on educative and daily life content. My larger project was a 3-5 minute video detailing a typical day on base in Mahé, Seychelles. All footage was shot by myself, with a few exceptions for diving in the longer video.
